The Pennine Trust is governed by the Board of Directors. The Board has overall responsibility for all operations and activities including the quality of the education provided by its Academies. It is primarily accountable to the Members of the Trust and also to external stakeholders and government agencies, including the Department for Education for the work carried out across the Trust.
- The Board sets and reviews the vision, direction and strategy of the trust
- Holds the Chair of the trust to account for standards of teaching and learning and the delivery of strategy and
- Has overall supervision of finances and resources
Governance across each Academy within the Trust is delegated to a Local Governing Body. Overall operational management is delegated to the Executive Headteacher.
